Girls Varsity Basketball Defeat Patriot 47-30

Walnut won their final game at the Roosevelt Tournament Saturday by defeating Patriot, 47-30. The Mustangs jumped out to a big 35-13 lead at halftime and cruised the rest of the way. Yasmin Dabbous and Kaitlin Day were the leading scorers with 11 points each. Senior Jenna Pitpit was chosen for the All-Tournament team.
