Walnut’s stampede defense had its first shutout since 2010 when it held Nogales to zero points in a 40-0 victory Friday night. Kevin Gonzalez had two interceptions, Dominic Yousef 2 sacks and Carlos Castellanos had a 69-yard fumble recovery TD run to lead the defense. QB Donathan Maldonado scrambled 22-yards for a touchdown (pictured) and finished the night 10 for 15 and 1 TD pass. Walnut wraps up the non-league schedule with a game at San Gabriel next Friday.
